Welcome to the new Rum Room and Venu!
Launching soon in early 2023, Venu, a newly renovated space for elegant private events and upscale meetings, is located in one of the oldest public buildings in the heart of Miami Beach on the campus of the Miami Beach Convention Center. The adjacent Rum Room is a 1920s restaurant with an enticing tapas-style menu and local South Florida rums.
Venu
Venu, located adjacent to the main restaurant, accommodates up to 100 guests in an airy yet sophisticated space, including an open terrace for al fresco entertaining. Welcome your guests with a tailor-made menu or a custom-crafted cocktail in a local Miami Beach speakeasy.
Rum Room
Combining Miami Beach’s vibrant culture with a chef-driven culinary vision, Rum Room is one of the city’s best-known spots for locals and visitors to find innovative, seasonally inspired menus in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.
Rum Room is a neighborhood restaurant available to host special events for any occasion. In addition to the main dining room, which seats 48 guests, the waterside terrace can seat up to 50 guests and provides a memorable backdrop overlooking historic Collins Canal.
This historical, century-old landmark with a neighborhood speakeasy vibe features an upscale, tapas-style menu full of contemporary Latin flavors and highlighting fresh local ingredients and plant-based options. A canal-side terrace features year-round waterside dining. The bar features a variety of high-quality rums, spirits, and specialty craft cocktails along with wines by the glass and bottle.

Management & Event Booking
Rum Room and Venu are jointly managed and operated by the MBCC’s exclusive Food & Beverage provider Sodexo Live! and by the MBCC’s Venue Management Company OVG360.
