Is smoking or vaping allowed inside the MBCC?

No smoking or vaping is permitted in the MBCC.

Some of my exhibitors want to provide attendees with samples of food and beverages. Is this allowed?

Sampling of food items are allowed in portions no greater than 2 oz. and beverage items in portions no greater than 3 oz. in size and should be distributed by the exposition sponsoring organization or exhibitors. The samples must be manufactured, processed, or distributed by the exhibiting firms. Sampling of alcoholic beverages requires special arrangements and authorization from the facility. Is outside food and beverage permitted inside the Convention Center?

Outside food and beverage is not permitted inside the Convention Center.

Can I hire food trucks for my event?

Food Trucks are not permitted on South Beach.

Are there complimentary airport shuttles to the airport?

The MBCC does not offer free airport shuttles.

Is there currency exchange inside the Convention Center?

The Miami Beach Convention Center does not provide currency exchange.

Can I hire my own AV labor?

All staging and production or audio/visual work must be done by union labor in accordance to the agreements between the MBCC and IATSE 500&600 and IBEW.

Is catering available?

Yes, catering is available and is provided exclusively in-house by Centerplate. It is prohibited to bring in outside food & beverage. For more information on our catering options, please click HERE.

How do I book space?

You may call the main line at 786-276-2600 during normal business hours to be redirected to the appropriate sales manager. Click HERE to fill out the online "Request for Proposal" form and a sales manager will be in contact with you soon.

Does the Convention Center have a Business Center?

Business services and shipping services can be arranged for your event. Contact your sales manager or event services manager.

Is complementary WiFi Available?

Complimentary WiFi is available in the lobby areas of the Convention Center.

Are hoverboards, wheelies, skateboards, or drones allowed inside the Convention Center?

No hover boards, wheelies, skateboards, or drones are permitted inside of the Convention Center.

How far is the airport from the Convention Center and what kind of transportation is available?

The Miami International Airport is approximately ten miles west of the Convention Center. Although the Center does not provide transportation, we do have preferred transportation partners that you can utilize. Please call 786-276-2629 for details.
