Miami Beach Convention Center Honor with Special Recognition Award by the Miami Hospitality Design Awards 2019

MIAMI BEACH, FL – (April 9, 2019) – The re-imagined Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC, a Spectra-managed venue) was proud to be honored with a Special Recognition Award by the Miami Hospitality Awards on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.
The Miami Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Miami), Greater Miami & The Beaches Hotel Association (GMBHA), and Oberhausen Marketing & Public Relations announced the winners of the 2019 Miami Hospitality Design Awards during a celebration at the luxurious The Miami Beach EDITION hotel.
With more than 170 architecture, design, hotel and restaurant professionals in attendance, the awards honored the hoteliers, licensed architects and designers whose creativity and extraordinary venues have elevated Miami’s hospitality industry and consumer experiences.
“Through our support and that of AIA Miami, GMBHA, and Hospitality Design magazine, the awards continue to recognize the world-class hospitality venues that are entering our vibrant market,” said President, Oberhausen Marketing & Public Relations, Josh Oberhausen. “We had a great turnout and look forward to welcoming more new and exciting venues.”
During the event, the Miami Beach Convention Center was presented a Special Recognition Award for the incredible expansion and renovation project that will boost Miami’s hospitality and tourism community. The City of Miami Beach, Arquitectonica and Fentress Architects were all recognized.
