New art deco studio unveiled at the Miami Beach Convention Center

(MIAMI, FL) – September 14, 2020 – The Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) is proud to unveil its new Art Deco Studio, developed in partnership with Everlast Productions and Smart City Networks to support the production of hybrid events at the reimagined venue.

MBCC’s Director of Sales Micah Allen said, “The event world is changing; show organizers are using the latest technology to support hosting events safely while still maximizing their attendance and brand reach. Thanks to our partnership with Everlast Productions and Smart City Networks, the new Art Deco Studio at the MBCC makes hybrid event production a breeze.”

Everlast Productions’ General Manager Washington Arias added, “Everlast is excited to develop and launch a top-notch recording and streaming studio at the MBCC. The studio’s flexibility is perfect for hybrid events, but also for webcasts, broadcasts, podcasts, virtual words, digitally mastered HD-recorded activities and more! Clients are only limited by their imagination.”

Hybrid events combine socially distanced in-person gatherings with HD video and live webstream technology to create a seamless experience for viewers and participants, maximizing the reach of any event while preserving venue health and safety measures. Meetings, presentations, panels and more are re-imagined when event organizers combine live (in-person), “as-live” (pre-recorded content), and purely virtual (computer-generated) elements to deliver engaging, unforgettable experiences to audiences around the world in real-time or on-demand.

The Art Deco Studio streamlines the event planning process while alleviating participant travel. Event segments are produced in real-time or as digitally mastered recordings. Streams are launched live or on-demand through popular platforms (Zoom, YouTube, etc.). Event organizers can maximize sponsorships by customizing a streaming page on the MBCC’s website, where banner ad, graphics and messaging opportunities are built into the framework to support event ROI. Deep-dive reporting capabilities track attendee engagement with robust analytics, facilitating reporting and assessments, and informing strategic brand development.

MBCC’s Art Deco Studio includes audio-visual and IT technical support built into the space. Cameras, mics, floor mounted lights, free Wi-Fi, CAT 6 cabling and more – built and ready in the room so move-in and move-out is quick and easy. View the full technical list of AV and IT services available in the Art Deco Studio, detailing Everlast Production’s audio, video and computer support and Smart City Networks’ bandwidth data packages. It’s all ready to go! Or add concert-quality lighting and audio, create virtual worlds with green screens and content design, or go for bigger bandwidth and stream showstopping productions.

Smart City Networks provides reliable and dedicated bandwidth for a robust internet connection that supports popular virtual video streaming platforms. Redundancy in the MBCC’s IT infrastructure offers separate circuit entry points for 10 GB of data transfer into the venue; if one unexpectedly fails, the automatic turnover to the backup circuit assures there is no downtime to clients. Smart City Network’s 24/7 network monitoring and knowledgeable technical support also provides the confidence planners need to leverage the latest technologies for hybrid events. Finally, Smart City Networks provides free Wi-Fi in common areas and ballrooms, including in the Art Deco Studio so we all remain connected.
