Holocaust Memorial

The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is located on the corner of Meridian Avenue and Dade Boulevard near the Miami Beach Convention Center. This memorial commemorates the six million Jewish men and women that lost their lives at the hands of the Nazi regime during 1933 to 1945. The memorial, designed by Kenneth Treister, constitutes a series of outdoor spaces that all revolve around the centerpiece bronze sculpture of a stretched out hand tattooed with an Auschwitz number surrounded by figures of victims and the Memorial Wall. The Memorial Wall is where survivors and their families can pay homage to the loved ones who perished during the Holocaust. The memorial is free and open to the public from 9:30 am until sunset.
